RTP 1 is the main television channel of Rádio e Televisão de Portugal, the Portuguese public broadcasting corporation.
It has a variety of programs, composed mainly of news and talk-shows, sports, current affairs, national and international fiction, such as films and TV series.
RTP 2 aims at less mainstream and more intellectual content with a strict cultural and educational programming. RTP 2 is the only broadcaster from Portugal that broadcasts programming without interruptions, ad breaks or in line messaging.
RTP 2 is devoted to worldwide recognized quality television content, institutional EU/national programming or advertising, television series, cinematography, documentary films, theatre and classical music.
RTP 3 is Portuguese 24-hour news channel operated by Rádio e Televisão de Portugal.
Despite most of its programming being news-related, occasionally the channel also airs some sports programming, such as the Olympics and the FIFA Confederations Cup.

Os Maias
Antena 1 one of the three national radio channels produced by the Portuguese public broadcasting entity Rádio e Televisão de Portugal.
Antena 1 has a generalist programming policy focusing mainly on news, current affairs and sport, as well as the discussion of contemporary social issues, with the musical accent on Portuguese popular music.
Antena 2 specializes in the broadcasting of classical and world music as well as other programmes of a cultural nature.
Antena 3 specializes in contemporary and alternative music, featuring live concerts, news and chart countdown programmes.
