Dialogue in the garden

Bem vindos ao episódio 59 do Portuguese Lab Podcast.
In this episode you'll listen to a dialogue with European Portuguese native speakers. The dialogue is read at normal speed and it is form intermediate/advanced learners!
The dialogue starts with a couple discussing some tasks that need to be done in the garden and finishes inside a garden center while buying some tools, plants and other gardening related items.

- João, temos de limpar o jardim.
- Temos é de arranjar um jardineiro!
- Não digas disparates. Tens muito tempo para fazer um bocadinho de jardinagem! A vedação precisa de ser pintada, a sebe precisa de ser cortada. A relva, nem se fala! Parece uma selva!
- O aparador de relva está avariado…
- Olha, então vais à loja e compras um novo. E depois disso, vais buscar o carrinho de mão e a vassoura, e varres as folhas que estão a tapar o caminho de entrada e a piscina.
- Ah, não vale a pena. Com o vento que está!
- Ai que mandrião! Faz lá o que te digo! E no fim regas tudo com a mangueira.
- A mangueira está furada.
- Ai a minha vida… Regas com o regador.
- A relva toda? Nem pensar! Bem, vou à loja.
Na loja:
- Bom dia, Sr. João, então o que vai ser?
- Bom dia. Olhe, a patroa quer um aparador de relva novo.
- Hmmm… Acho que não temos nenhum.
- Não? Ora bolas…
- Mas temos tesouras de poda e tesouras corta-sebes.
- Ora essa, não quer que eu corte a relva com uma tesoura, pois não?
- Pois, não é o melhor, realmente...
- Claro que não, menina. Bem, vou levar uma lata de tinta branca, para pintar a vedação.
- Tinta também não temos.
- Então, mas não tem nada?
- Olhe, temos umas trepadeiras muito bonitas!
- Ouça lá, mas o que é que eu faço com as trepadeiras?

- Planta-as em frente da vedação, elas crescem, e assim já não tem de pintar nada.
- Não é mal pensado, não senhora. Dê-me então umas rosas trepadeiras, terra, um ancinho, uma pá e umas luvas de jardinagem de tamanho S.
- Tamanho S é muito pequeno para si.
- São para a minha mulher.
- Com certeza!
- E já agora, mais uns vasos e umas flores coloridas.
- Afinal vai remodelar o jardim, Sr. João!
- Não, vou pô-los à volta da casinha de jardim e assim também não tenho de a pintar.
